Publication design for Metallotheek
Publication design for Metallotheek, a project initiated by Laura van Santen. Metallotheek is a collaborative project to explore the casting, finishing and patination of bronze, learning by doing.
Every cover has a different composition of silkscreened circles – referring to the shapes and colours that were used for the research. We printed these covers at Make Eindhoven, the same place where the research took place. The inside printing and the binding was done at De Kijm in The Hague.
To present the outcomes we also designed a physical presentation that was installed at Make – to give artists and designers an insight into the possibilities of patination.
